| During hot days, many rooms become largely unusable for critical parts of the day. Interior blockout blinds or sunscreen blinds can allow only a fraction of the sun’s heat to enter the room, increasing comfort and reducing air-conditioning costs. The Smyth family had a large living room with windows outlooking to a pool area. Whilst allowing great views, this large expanse of glass was letting in sunlight, heat and glare. Four upstairs bedrooms
had no effective light blockout solutions. The rooms were becoming daylight
bright in the early hours of the morning. As well as disrupting sleep,
the rooms built up heat during the day and needed aircooling at night.. Blinds of any design
can help set the style and tone of a house as well as providing privacy
and sun protection. Distinguished by their crisp, clean style, sunscreen
or blackout blinds are soft, yet durable. Customers often find roller
blinds a practical and affordable replacement for older curtains or
Venetians. Issued
