| Outdoor Dining Areas Become UV Safe | |||||
| Tobacco reforms are driving many entertainment venues to upgrade their outdoor entertainment and drinking areas. During hot days, beer gardens, roof-top terraces, and outdoor smoking areas can become largely unusable for critical parts of the day. Properly designed shade sails can help turn these outdoor recreation areas into UV safe, inviting, cool outdoor spaces for customers. A series of overlapping shade sails were designed by Mulders shade for the Malvern Hotel. Australia. The sails help make guest more comfortable whilst creating a modern sculptural look at the same time. Mulders have designed many shade sail solutions for hotels, pubs, clubs and offices. Each solution has been different as outdoor entertainment spaces are very diverse in their size and layout. Often a series of overlapping sails are needed to give shade cover but adequate footing space is needed for multiple supporting poles. Mulders Eclipse shade sail spans up to 7m but only uses two supporting poles instead of four. This innovative design is ideal for entertainment areas where space is at a premium.
Mulders design and
manufacturing process is fully CAD Driven. All sails are made on site
at their Melbourne factory which has over 1500m2 of manufacturing capacity.
Engineering certification, professional installation, competitive trade prices and a 5-year warranty on workmanship are all part of the quoted price. Mulders is a prominent member of the industry body for Canvas products and have been making shade structures for over 30 years. Their on-line design showroom includes photo examples of over 70 of their more recent shade installations. Issued
